Transcription: These are mahogany desks and chairs for the nine Supreme Court justices. Many of the desks and chairs are originals, dating back to the late 1830s. The chairs are mismatched because historically, each justice has chairs designed to personal preference. Even today, chairs are custom-made in the court carpenter shop.
